Jon Merritt has spent over 25 years in the studio. His journey began in the Hard House scene as DainaKaina, releasing on legendary labels like Shock Records and 12 Inch Thumpers. He later dominated the Bouncy Electro House charts as half of Dirty Inc and held a long-standing residency at Bournemouth’s iconic Dusk Till Dawn for the ‘Frenzy’ club nights. A dedicated mentor, Jon has spent the last 15 years teaching music production, refining the technical precision that defines the MENTALI6X sound.
Marcus Voss brings 30 years of underground immersion to the duo. From the raw energy of German warehouse raves to the UK’s forest party scene, his roots are firmly planted in the culture of techno and rave. As the driving force behind the mindwax project and the BLACK WAXX collective, Marcus focuses on atmosphere and movement. He also ran and DJ’d at the sofakingfat club night in Bournemouth.
